To help organise the order of my 1 minute sound design, here is a list below of the ordering of the sounds I will use for my design. It will also include which part of the image the sound focuses on (if there is one). These are subject to change depending on how making my sound design goes, and if I think the sounds work well together and are appropriate for my intentions.

Changes to Original plans

A few changes have been made compared to my previous post, which are:

- A bit of drama added to the sound. This is shown through a snow storm and the reoccurrence of some sounds, such as the winter's wind and creaking.
- The man stops (like the picture), creating a build up of sounds around him.

Sound Design Order

Opening (around 5 seconds)

Open with the sound of a cold, winters wind. This should then lead to the sound of footsteps walking on snow, gradually becoming louder until maintaining a certain volume - as if the camera is keeping the same gap from the pedestrian. The pedestrian crosses the road onto the other side.

Restaurant

As he walks towards the other pavement, the sound of cutlery clashing should arise (not a lot of cutlery - only the sound as if a knife and folk hit each other and the plate). This should become louder then quieter as the pedestrian walks past the restaurant. As this happens, there should be a roaring sound of hot air coming from a vent (from the restaurant). Because there isn't a vent in the image, the sound should be coming from the side of the restaurant which you can't see in the image, shown in the image below:
The vent sound should come from the right of the restaurant.
There should also be a faint sound of a woman's voice - perhaps laughing or talking, however it must be quiet due to her being inside the restaurant. These should occur in sync, and the sound of the footsteps on snow should remain apparent, as the pedestrian walks past.

Moving car + Traffic lights

As the sounds of the restaurant fade away, there should be around 1-2 seconds of the footsteps, to show the pedestrian walking away. This is interrupted by the flickering sound of a street light, shown in the image below:

The light at the top of the image doesn't seem fully functioning,
meaning the bulb could be dying and flickering

Whilst this flickering occurs, there should be an approaching sound of a car engine - from the image the car looks quite sporty like a muscle car, meaning the engine should have a slight roar. The car should pull up and stop at the traffic lights, where the sound of the engine leads to tick over. With the footsteps still apparent, there should be a silence, minus these 2 sounds. This is when there should be a creaking sound of the lamp post. After this, perhaps there could be a faint sound of the traffic lights flicking - showing the lights changing colour. This is when the car pulls away slowly (as the car keeps an eye on the slow on the road) and fades away into the distance. Below shows an image of where the pedestrian should be roughly:
The pedestrian should be here,
where he is on the image itself .

Cinema

Because the image shows the pedestrian standing, I've decided to show this in my design. The footsteps should stop, and as he walks towards the cinema, there should be a fade in sound of a background crowd - showing that the cinema is full. The pedestrian could be looking at the cinema which is why he stops. Whilst he stops, the wintery wind should appear again - however this time more harsh. This is when it begins to snow - the sound of snow should fade in. As the wind blows, the sound of snow falling on car could suddenly appear from across the street. So to generalise, it begins to snow heavily, almost like the beginning of a snow storm. There should also be another creaking sound - perhaps this time the roof of the cinema (above where he is standing) could creak as the wind blows.

Coach and pedestrians

As the pedestrian begins to walk down the street again, the wind is still apparent (as well as the footsteps). The sound of a bus engine approaches, gradually becoming louder. The bus then comes to a halt where the noise of brakes squealing appear and the noise of suspension as the bus stops. You can then hear the bus doors open. Several pedestrians rush off the bus and run up the street. Here you can hear several footsteps on snow as well as some talking in the distance plus some screaming and laughing - this happens due to the snow storm becoming worse and almost blowing the pedestrians off the path. Gradually becoming quieter, the storm becomes louder. The wind and creaking appears one more time until the sound design ends.
