Shot List

As I am the cinematographer, it is down to me to create the shortlist for our pilot episode. This will include every single shot used throughout the whole episode, so that when filming we can relate to the shot list and make sure that we film all footage that we need.

The shot list consists of the following headings:

   - Scene Numbers: Here I've added the scene numbers and every shot for each scene. This makes it
easy to refer to when shooting. For example, if we needed to rehearse part of scene 3 (say shot 3),
we can easily allocate the 3rd shot in scene 3 by looking at the shot list.
   - Action: This records everything that is happening within each shot.
   - Shot/Framing: This is how the camera will be set up to record the action, including aspects such
as the shot size, focusing, angles, tracking and panning.
   - Sound: This records the key sound aspects that will be included in each shot. For example, sound
     effects and dialogue.
   - Locations: This enables us to easily see which scenes are at which location, helping us to
organize call sheets and shoot dates for our actors.
   - Duration (seconds): A rough guide on how long each scene is. This makes it more convenient to
learn how long our pilot episode will be roughly, and how long each scene is.

Below is the first draft of the shot list:

This shot list has been adapted to my up-to-date version of the script (4th draft) and is only likely to change depending on further test shoots and any alterations to the script.
