Cooking in action!

How Did the Day Go?

For our final day of filming, I myself felt that it went quite well. We got all the meals cooked across the day and they too came out nicely presented (and tasted nice!) As this day of filming is only for our website and not our actual film, we came across a couple of changes, which were:

     - Kate was our presenter. This is because Dave wasn't available and we generally thought it would
look better having a different presenter instead of the same as this is exclusively for our website.
This is quite consistent in other programs e.g. the 'Xtra Factor' has different presenters than the
       'X Factor'.
     - As well as this, we didn't worry too much on making sure each shot is perfect in terms of
equipment getting in the way or the crew. In fact, we made sure we included some of this so that
it creates a more informal tone for our website thus allowing the audience to feel more
comfortable as it is less serious and more casual.

Who Done What?

Throughout the day we planned who would be doing what, which was:
     - Kate was the presenter, therefore she couldn't do the camera or sound, etc. She took part in all of
the cooking as well as doing voice overs.
     - I was on camera and sound, as well as directing Kate on what to cook plus the instructions.
     - Sam was the camera assistant (was on the camera a couple of times) as well as being the GoPro
       operator and general assistant.

Was there any problems?

As we had previously filmed cooking before, we worked around the potential problems, meaning there wasn't any major problems for this day's filming. We only faced two problems, which were:
     - We got the bacon and pea risotto instructions wrong, so we had to recook this meal. This
however wasn't a problem as we had more than enough ingredients to cook again.
     - We missed out the voice over regarding the total price of each meal. This isn't a major problem
as we can do the voice overs whenever (as Kate done the voice overs) or simply use graphics
       instead.

What went well?

Minus redoing one of the meals and missing a bit of the voice over out, everything else went well, such as:

     - The meals were generally all very nice and didn't have any problems cooking them
     - Once again we got plenty of footage and in-the-action footage with the GoPro
     - Kate worked well as a presenter and it generally suits our student theme

Conclusion

To conclude, today's filming and all other days filming generally went really well. We faced a couple of problems however this shouldn't have a huge effect on our film. Now it's time for the editing stages!
