What's Happening for our SVTV+ Cooking Story?
As mentioned before, we've decided to use voice overs as this enables a much easier edit plus makes it alot easier to have a better narrator otherwise you would have lots of background noise, especially for our cooking programme.
Me and Kate have already done (and posted on our blogs) the voice overs for our cooking story so this isn't needed. This is the same for our selfie story so we only need to create a script for the voice overs for our additional film. This can be seen below:
After we used the script for our filming date, we released we had missed some parts of the script. This was:
- The total price for each meal. This means that we will need to get a voice over showing this.
- The peas for the pea and bacon risotto meal. This too can be voice over again.
So me and Kate got together at the studio to record these parts for the voice over, as we were able to do this with ease because she was the presenter.
We asked our technician, Ferg what would be best for a simple audio. We had a bit of spare time so he introduced us to a software allowing you to use a mixer and the microphone which is built to record sound (however I cant remember what the software was called!). So after he taught us how to use it, we begun recording our last bits for our voice over.
Below are a couple of images we took. I was operating the sound controls whilst of course Kate was doing sound.
Below is the script which we used:
The yummy bacon
risotto is only £4.85 or between 4 students only £1.22 each!
Biryani only comes to £1.05 each or £4.18 all
together – SCRUMPTIOUS.
This succulent salmon
was only £4.58, which is just £1.15 per student. YUMMY STUFF
