As we are having a live interview showing how to take the perfect selfie, I decided to research what the aspects of taking a perfect selfie may be.

What Makes A Perfect 'Selfie'?

Believe it or not, but the Daily Mail have actually created an article regarding how to take the perfect selfie. Some of the tips which it says are:

    - Research from the University of Surrey suggests that you can take a better selfie if you take the
picture further away, so that you can instead zoom in to reach a better perspective. For group
shots, your phone should be at an arm's length and landscape.

should be, created by Doctor Sporera

    - If using a wide-angled lens, then a 'selfie stick' would be appropriate. This enables you to gain that
extra distance to stop the image from looking distorted.

     - In terms of lighting, the image shouldn't be back lit, and instead there should be a number of lights
spread across the room so you don't get some darkening areas.

     - Phones often have automatic exposure settings, however on cameras you can tweak the ISO to
reduce the noise from the image. This makes the image clearer and reduces any grain or exposure
       of light.

     - The angle of your selfie should be a high angle, and focus on your 'good side' of your face. The
reason why is should be a high angle is so that it shows off your 'features' on your face, as well as
if you're a women, helps to show your cleavage (according to 'WikiHow')

     - To liven up your 'selfie', websites suggest that showing something new will help to make it more
interesting. For example, something you've just bought, or a new hairstyle, etc

     - Having an interesting expression (not a pout!). It doesn't hurt to smile, or you could remain
authentic and have your own signature expression.

     - Using your main camera is always better. Although it's more difficult to take the 'selfie', it gives
you a much better image quality, thus enhancing your picture.

     - Last but not least, theres also the post editing stage, which is adding your filter. This can be done
by using applications on your phone such as Instagram, which enable you to create a unique twist
to your image or like most people, use it to brighten up your image and generally make you look
better. Filters can range from black and white to Valencia, etc.
