Who Will We Be Using?

As we are filming for next week, my group and I have decided who we are going to use for our news anchor and our reporter, which are:

News Anchor: Dave Chawner 

We came to the conclusion to use Dave as our news anchor. This is because he has had lots of experience before in presenting therefore is already suited for the part. He was also a student meaning he understands the student life and the idea which we are aiming for which too is a bonus. He showed lots of enthusiasm with our idea and judging from his work we thought that he would fit perfectly for the role of our news anchor. Additionally, we've also decided to use him as the reporter for our cooking story, purely because then we wouldn't need to employ someone else and generally makes it easier as we can film the studio and the cooking story on the same day.

Reporter: Natasha Blick

Although we had a few applicants for our news anchor role, Natasha was actually the only person who applied for the reporter role. However, this doesn't mean that we had to use her as originally we were going to use someone for the news anchor role for our reporter role incase nobody applied. Nonetheless, Natasha loved the idea of our stories and generally had a huge interest - she even asked us if she could ask our interviewee any questions which shows ambition. She too used to be a student meaning that she understands the student life, and more importantly understands our aims for our news channel.
