Introduction
So, the first day of filming finally arrives! My group and I today were filming the introduction of Jake - generally introducing who he is, as well as us learning about his obsession with Gaga by showing us his fan products and how she has given him the confidence Jake has today.
Todays filming included:
- Introduction of Jake
- Learning about his art of Gaga, clothes, posters, fragrances, etc
- How she made him feel secure about him coming out, and generally giving him confidence
- Talking about his tattoo: what he is having done and why
- Cutaways of his products

Arrive at Jake's: 10:00am
Setup: 10:00 - 10:30am
Introduction of Jake: 10:30am-12:00pm

How did the day go?
Overall, this day of filming was quite satisfactory. It was the first time I met Jake however everything generally ran quite smoothly. Of course, we would know he would be quite nervous on camera considering it is something new he has done, as well as it being the first time he met with me and Aaron, plus the whole story being quite touchy (i.e. talking about his insecurities). The main problem we faced with this day was making sure that Jake's room stays exactly the same for when we next film. This could ruin consistency say if he was to move one of his posters on his wall. However, before we started, we took pictures of his room so we know how to make it look the same for next time we film at his.
Another problem we faced was of course time. It took a lot longer than expected to film certain parts, meaning we didn't quite get everything we needed on this day of filming. This is why we arranged an extra for filming so that we can re film or instead film bits we ran out of time on.
