Similar to my visual and audio checklist post, I have also created a Prop checklist. This includes all additional items which are evident within my trailer, as well as including the clothing on which my actors are wearing.

Props (items)

Knife - my trailer must show glimpses of the knife to hint towards what the climax of my story may be
Cigarrettes - used for the gang to 'smoke' to add to the intimidating look
Scales - to show weighing up the drugs
Mobile Phone - for Joe to use whilst walking to school, and to be taken when he gets attacked
Schoolbag - add to the 'school' look for Joe

Clothing

All the members in the gang must be wearing a tracksuit or wearing a hood of some kind. This is because it helps to create an intimidating look as well as being easily identifiable as a gang member. This is evident in 'Kidulthood' and 'Topboy', as the majority of characters are seen wearing bland tracksuits. Nevertheless, I have decided to make Tay stand out a bit, so that the audience know that he is the brother and that there isn't any confusion with the other gang. Therefore Tay will be wearing a GREEN tracksuit top which makes him easily identifiable.

All the other gang should wear a similar tracksuit. I have chosen to create an emphasis on the colour grey as, according to my research, is the most identifiable colour (for the audience) for a tracksuit, thus reinforcing the intimidating look which the gang must convey. This applies for Blaine and Andy however G (the character whom stabs Joe) should wear something slightly different, so that the audience learn that he is the victim within my story. So, G could wear a different coat however this should not stand out as much as Tay's jumper as it may create confusion.

Joe should follow this dress style - students from the TV
series 'Waterloo Road'
Joe should be the only character who isn't wearing a tracksuit of some kind. Instead, Joe must be wearing school uniform, as mentioned in my other post. He must also however wear the school uniform in a informal way, for example shirt untucked, top button undone, etc. I gained this idea from the known drama TV series 'Waterloo Road' - a high majority of the students from the school wear their school uniform in a similar way as I have explained, as well as wearing additional clothing (such as jumpers) or in some cases going against school rules and wearing jeans instead of trousers, etc.
