After a couple of weeks hard work on the script, below is the first draft of the script.

As this is only a first draft, there are still a couple of things which need work on. For example:

   - Dialogue for which songs are being used for auditions i.e. for Chantelle
   - The song which Chantelle is singing on karaoke during the party scenes
   - Interview for Jamie needs to be introduced
   - General proof-reading and improvement on dialogue.

Scene Breakdown

Furthermore, below is each of the scene numbers which I've created, highlighting what happens in each scene. Writing this down will enable me to create easy links when creating the shot list, plus making it easier to find out where a specific part of the script will be.

Scene 1: Introduction of the pilot: the teaser. Here we see an interview with the director and assistant director who tell us what the company is about.

Scene 2: Briefly introducing some of the other characters (i.e. Chantelle) + introducing the process of the auditions.

Scene 3: Interviews with Chantelle and Jordan + Chantelle's audition. We learn that the two are an item together however it seems that Jordan can be embarrassed of Chantelle.

Scene 4: Interview with Vic and Maddie + Maddie's audition. We learn that Vic is a mature actor who has been acting for years, and learn that Maddie is new to the group and hasn't auditioned for anything before. We learn from Maddie's audition that she is very talented.

Scene 5: Interview with Ruby. Here we learn that there is chemistry between the two.

Scene 6: Introduction to John and the first disruption of the episode. We learn that Chantelle bribes John however the janitor sees this happening and is not impressed.

Scene 7: Interview with John + John tells Alex and Giles that he wants Chantelle as the lead role as Wendy.

Scene 8: Alex's reaction to John telling them to cast Chantelle as Wendy. Giles is unusually quiet as he is worried about loosing his house.

Scene 9: The announcement of the auditions. Chantelle gets Wendy, Jordan gets Peter, Vic gets Hook, Jamie gets Smee, Ruby gets Tinkerbell, and Maddie is casted as an extra. We see mini-interviews with Maddie, Jamie and Chantelle. Chantelle then announces there will be a party at Jordan's house.

Scene 10: Moving to Jordan's house party. We see a montage of clips from the party and an interview with Alex talking about Chantelle.

Scene 11: Alex talks to Maddie about Chantelle, saying that not many people like her. Jordan walks in and introduces himself to Maddie, where however Chantelle thinks that he is flirting with Maddie. Chantelle becomes angry and has a go at the two, before we see Jamie and Ruby fly out of the bedroom door, holding onto one another. Ruby gets embarrassed and runs out, leaving an upset Jamie.

Scene 12: Moving to the morning after, everyone is feeling hungover from the night before. Ruby nearly throws up in auditions, causing Chantelle to walk out and have a break as she can't deal with working with 'amateurs'.

Scene 13: Jordan leaves the scene as he goes to see if Ruby is OK. Maddie gets pushed into the middle of the stage to cover Chantelle by B, where she works really well with Jordan and amazes everyone. John realises he is doing the wrong thing and makes Maddie as Wendy instead of Chantelle. The scene ends when Chantelle finds out and goes mad, pushing one of the cameras to the floor.

Scene 14: Alex and Giles apologise for the camera to get damaged. They are happy for Maddie and the episode ends when Giles realises that Maddie is called Maddie, and not Maggie.

Nonetheless, I'm awaiting feedback on the script. Once I have revived feedback, I will continue to work on the second draft of the script. For now, I will now be creating a shot list for this current script.

Feedback

I sent the first draft of the script to Simon, who gave me the following feedback:

It's clear that my script needed lots of work to do, however I will continue on working on the second draft of the script.
