What's Changed?

As we approach filming for our cooking story, me and Kate got together to go through everything to see if we needed to changed or add anything. Below is what we came up with

Website Name & Content

For our website, Kate and I came up with the idea of calling our website 'SVTV+' - we decided to call our website this as it is very simple and is literally what it says (more of our information however on a website). Nonetheless, as we needed to create a website for our project, we have also decided to add some additional work to give our website a bit more content.

This is where our additional footage of the meals which aren't in our news report will be listed. We decided to get together after filming the 3 main meals to then film the rest of the meals in a similar way as before. However, there will be some changes to this, such as:

    - Kate will be our presenter. This is because Dave is unavailable for the day which we are filming
      this (Sunday 30th November)
    - It will have a less formal tone. This is mainly because it is almost like 'behind the Scenes'
footage. For example, you have the Xtra Factor: the sister programme to X Factor. This show is
generally more casual and goes behind the scenes, which is a similar approach which we will be
following. This means there will be bloopers or anything funny we made whilst filming for this
news story. This is reinforced by the fact that my colleague Kate will be presenting it instead, as it
makes our website seem more friendly as we are getting involved ourselves.

As well as the extra meals, we will also include some of the footage showing us getting the food ourselves, plus extra information showing the prices of each food individually - a breakdown of how much it all costs together.

Our website will also include segments linking to our Facebook and Twitter pages (which will also be created). This gives our branding a more interactive feel by letting our audience and primarily the students the chance to get into contact with us on their opinions, and more importantly getting them engaged. For example, we could make a Tweet asking students what they're cheap meals are which they may cook.

Channel Branding

We've also altered the branding of our channel. Instead of using the colour purple, we've swapped it for red. This is mainly because it is more eye-catching (especially as it contrasts with the black). Nonetheless, the rest of our branding will be kept as simple as possible so nothing else has changed.

Who Will Be Doing What?

As we are in the final 2 weeks of our deadline, my group and I have set ourselves tasks to do for the final stages. These stages are:

Kate: Creating a first edit draft of the news channel all together.
Me: Creating and researching what graphics to do. Creating a logo to show to the rest of my group to discuss. Send out an advertisement to find a composer for our news channel.
Sam: Creating a logo aswell, and sending out another advertisement to find a composer.
