Introduction

To begin with, how does the idea of using a super fan fit with a hero? Firstly, everyone is likely to have a different example of a hero. Of course, there are more cultivated and stereotypical heroes evident, but there will be a variety of people who find someone different to be there hero. Well, the idea of someone being a 'super fan' links in perfectly with a hero - the person is inspired by this person, additionally increasing their motivation and more importantly making them happy. Just because their hero may not be known or instead been argued as to whether the person is actually a hero, doesn't mean that he/she isn't - there isn't an official published list saying who can be a hero and who can't.

Nonetheless, what is the general definition of a hero? This is the Google definition, shown below:

This therefore reinforce the idea that basically anybody can be a hero - as long as this persons (or objects) courage is identified and has achieved something 'outstanding', then basically anything or anyone can be a hero, thus meaning a celebrity can be for a fan.

Moving on, why are celebrities often classed as heroes from their fans? Well of course, there are the obvious reasons, such as:

     - Success: a celebrities success will be key, as everybody wants to be successful in life.
     - Determination: Often people's hard work is aspired to, as long as it reaches towards success
     - Generally who they are: Someone's personality and looks can be enough to make people aspire to
them i.e. people will aspire to model's looks
     - What they do: Some celebrities often partake in fundraising or events for the community which
people will aspire to. Basically anything which is nice and helpful will work.

Conclusion

Therefore, the definition of a hero or heroism is considerably vague. Despite there being the more courage able and dominating male stereotypical heroes, you can also get basically the opposite in appearance and strengths which too can be classed as a hero.
