Introduction

Today I thought to help me shoot for my trailer, I'd travel to the locations where I am planning to film, so that I can get a rough idea on what to do and how to do it. So I jumped on my motorbike and travelled around Chatham where firstly I went to places I have thought of filming already. However whilst riding, I looked around and found a couple of other good places which I could use for filming. Because I don't own a decent camera, all images are taken on my mobile phone (Iphone 5) and the pictures are only rough and not official, hence why they look amateurish!

As you can see, the focus of this shot is the multi-storey flat buildings which I am aiming to use for my production.  This will help to reinforce the gritty nature of my film aswell as showing the location of where my main characters live and their surroundings (Joe and Tay).

Here I stood on top of a bridge which shows a busy road in Chatham - just off the main high street. I thought this would be a good place to film as it allows the audience to learn that my film is based in a town centre.

This panorama is the main location of my film - it is where my climax and problem occurs (Jacksons Field). It's basically just an ordinary field however I find that the view in the distance may be useful for filming as it helps to portray the setting.

Similar to my first image, I found this location useful to reinforce the setting of my story. This is because of the large row of terrorist houses which lead all the way down the narrow road. Additionally, I thought it showed a subtle juxtaposition of say 'poverty' against 'freedom', as you can see the distance and separation of the 'run-down' area compared to the green field in the background.

This shot is just down from my previous 'Jacksons Field' shot. I thought this might be significant due to the long pathway behind the path, which is where my gang are situated in a part of my story. This location is also evident in my climax as it is where Joe is walking until the boys spot him and chase him.

Conclusion

In my opinion, I'm quite pleased that I collected these images (as well as some others, however these are the most important) as I felt stuck on where to shoot and more importantly how I'm going to do it!
